Snowy keeps its server small and untrusted. It passes sealed envelopes along and forgets them.
End-to-end encrypted
Messages, photos, voice notes and reactions are encrypted on your phone. Keys never leave your devices.
Sealed sender
Every message travels in a sealed, padded envelope over an anonymous connection. The server can't tell who sent it or how long it is.
No contact graph
Your contacts and groups live only on your phone. The server holds delivery keys and one-time invites, nothing that maps who knows whom.
No phone number
Sign up with no phone number and no email. Snowy never asks who you are.
Adding people
Verified the moment you connect.
There's no directory to search. You add people you actually know, and adding them proves it's really them.
